It was recently announced that Minna! Esper Dayo! (Everyone Is an ESPer) is being turned into a live action television show. The manga was launched in Kodansha‘s Weekly Young Magazine in 2009 and is from Kiminori Wakasugi, who also created Detroit Metal City and Kappei. This information was released in 2013′s very first issue of the magazine.

Minna! Esper Dayo! is a pyschic comedy that follows a boy, Yoshirou, through high school. One night, during a lunar eclipse, Yoshirou is given the ability to read people’s minds. A few select others are also given powers, and Yoshirou looks to team up with them. He wants to use his powers for good, but after realizing who he else was altered, things look a little questionable. The other two people that these powers were bestowed on are a middle aged man overly interested in sex toys and pornography as well as an upperclassmen who can only transport himself naked.
