Rumors have sprouted regarding a live action version of Kiki’s delivery service. Could it be? Takashi Shimizu, director of The Grudge, reportedly would be the director. Which brings the vision of this movie as a live action version of the Studio Ghibli movie with a horror spin added. To me, this sounds pretty cool and not too far from something that would actually occur, but Studio Ghibli has released a statement saying “We have no involvement in the matter.” So for anyone around the net searching for if this rumor has any truth, the answer is no.
