Makoto Shinka’s Children Who Chase Lost Voices has been licensed to Sentai Filmworks. They plan to release it on DVD and Blue-Ray later this year.
This is the longest film that Makoto Shinka’s has made and The film, like all of Makoto Shinka’s films, is scored by Tenmon. The story follows a curious, lively, young girl as she follows strange sounds towards her clubhouse. She journeys all the way under the earth and is attacked by a large monster only to be saved by a man she does not even know.
The movie will first be released in theaters on June 26 – July 3 at the Nuart Theater in Los Angeles, California.
