A New Way For Magi Fans to Tell the Future!

By: Hannah  Becker

Just because a show is on hiatus doesn’t mean the fans aren’t still involved! Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, a manga written and illustrated by Shinobu Ohtaka, was adapted into a show by A-1 Pictures in October 2012. The first season ended last month, and the second is planned to start this fall.

Although the season just ended, fans are already missing the show. Since it will be off the air for the next few months, the Japanese art online community Pixiv has started designing tarot cards in the theme of the show! So far they have made 13 of the 22 major arcana. Take a look!

Even for anime fans that aren’t into the whole future telling aspect, these cards look pretty cool. The trumps missing in this Magi tarot deck are the fool, the high priestess, the empress, the star, the moon, the hermit, judgment, the world and the devil. Any good ideas for what characters or pictures these missing cards could utilize?
