The 25th issue of Kodansha’s good! Afternoon magazine has announced that Ryu Mizunagi’s Witchcraft Works manga is to receive an anime adaptation. Not much information has been released about the adaptation, such as staff and cast. The manga was launched just recently last year and the fourth compiled book volume is being published on November 7, 2012.
The plot follows the main character, Takamiya Honoka, and his relationship with his beautiful and talented classmate, Kagari Ayaka. Kagari saves him from part of his school collapsing, among other events, and reveals that it is her mission to protect him. The story goes on to answer why exactly Kagari is and why Takamiya is being attacked. Oh, and did I forget to mention Kagari was dressed as a witch and floating on a broom? Should be interesting; make sure to check it out!
